Funded by Big Lottery BASIS, High Peak Volunteering is a
partnership project between Buxton, Glossop and New Mills Volunteer
Centres.
High Peak Volunteering focus is on
outreach services in order to fill in the gaps in provision between the 3
volunteer centres. Beginning in the Hope Valley, the project offers
guidance, support, information and free training to organisations and
groups which use volunteers. The key aims for the project are training
sessions and manager’s forums to engage and work closely with organisations
from a wide variety of backgrounds, including hard to
reach groups and groups from rural areas.
